this is a gay one, so you dont need to read.

But, its been one year since I started this. So here is my reflection.

i started this with no real goal. my motivation for it was to remember some things that i read about, and also reflect and synthesize on whatever hecking topics interest me at the moment. I would say this goal is somewhat being accomplished.

but a lot of what is being written about is viewed from the a specific lens. honestly i always write from a lens of power, and control. and probably cynicism. and being pessimistic about society.

which i dont think is a bad thing. but i dont like only thinking from a limited lens. I need to be able to switch it up. and think differently. I need to be critical

So moving forward im going to challenge myself not to do that. So after these next few posts, i will start.

I want to talk about adventurous things. Maybe undertake an arduous journey so i can talk about it.

or do something challenging and document it. My life is pretty monotonous at this point, another thing i dont like.

I want to be able to be optimistic about the future. and not view it as everything happening as a way to prepare for the arrival of the dajjal.

But don’t get me wrong, I MIGHT be pessimistic and cynical about the entire world and everybody in it. When it comes to myself though, my future is BRIGHT. and I have literally everything going for me. And ill have everything I desire, in shaa Allah.

but I will change my thinking.
